Receipts

Every payment you make in Secure GPS is kept in a receipt: what you bought, how much you paid, when your licenses start and end and, when it applies, the electronic invoice. Receipts are in My Account , in the Receipts and Invoices section.

List of receipts and invoices

The list shows the receipts from the newest to the oldest, with these columns:

  • Button : opens the receipt in a new tab.
  • Button : opens the electronic invoice, when the receipt has one.
  • Date: the day the license of the receipt starts. If it starts on a different date from the payment, hover over it to see the payment date.
  • Count: how many devices it covers.
  • Expires: when the license ends.
  • Amount: what you paid. An activation receipt, which has no payment of its own, says Included in receipt and the number of the payment receipt.
  • Product: what you bought. In a payment of several lines, the data plan is summarized with the number of lines in front (3 x and the name of the data plan) and the Secure GPS licenses follow, separated by commas. If the text is long it is cut; hover over it to see the whole text.
  • Status: the status of the payment.

Receipt page

When you open a receipt you see:

  • Close and Print at the top. Print opens the browser print dialog, where you can also save it as a PDF.
  • The number and date of the receipt, the name and email of the account and, if the license starts on another date, Activation: with that date.
  • A table with the Description and Amount of each item of the payment. In a line renewal there is an item for each line and one for each Secure GPS license.
  • Subtotal, Taxes and Total of the payment.
  • View eInvoice, when the payment has an invoice.

Activation of the licenses

When a payment includes licenses that start on different dates, as when you renew several lines, the payment receipt has the Activation of the licenses table with a row per date:

  • Licenses: the plan and how many devices it activates.
  • Activation: the day it starts.
  • Expires: the day it ends, a year later.
  • Receipt: the receipt of that activation.

Each later activation has its own receipt, with no value, showing Included in the receipt and the link to the payment receipt. The money, the taxes and the invoice always stay in the payment receipt. If that payment is voided, its activation receipts are voided with it.

Activate a scheduled license now

A paid receipt that starts in the future shows the notice This invoice is scheduled to activate with the date and the Activate Now button, which makes it start today. When it is worth it, when it is better to wait and the steps are in Activate a scheduled receipt now.

Pay a pending receipt

An unpaid receipt shows Pay With and the available payment methods, including the card you have linked. If the receipt already expired, Receipt expired appears at the top with the date and the request to complete the payment to keep receiving the services. While the bank confirms a payment you will see We are processing your payment.

Transfer a license to another account

With the Transfer button of a paid, current receipt you move its Secure GPS license to another account, for example when you sell the vehicle with its tracker. The owner of the account receives a code by email and the other account activates it in Buy more devices. Which receipts can be transferred, the steps for both accounts and what happens with your licenses are in Transfer a receipt to another account.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I have receipts with no value?

They are activation receipts: part of a payment whose licenses start on another date. The value is in the receipt they point to with Included in the receipt.
