Secure GPS's real-time map helps users monitor vehicles, people, and other connected assets through GPS trackers. Each new position can reflect changes in location, speed, heading, date, and other data available from the device.
We optimized how the map receives and loads new locations. This reduces friction while keeping a live view open throughout the day and helps positions appear more continuously, especially when monitoring several devices or receiving frequent updates.
For a monitoring center, this improvement makes it easier to follow a moving vehicle, verify whether it remains on the expected route, and respond to a new situation without relying on constant manual reloads. The final reporting frequency still depends on the tracker's configuration, GPS signal, and mobile connection.
Faster addresses from GPS coordinates
Trackers normally transmit latitude and longitude. Reverse geocoding converts those coordinates into a readable address or reference, such as a street, neighborhood, city, or nearby place. Users can therefore understand a location without having to interpret geographic numbers.
In this release, we optimized the queries used to retrieve those addresses. Secure GPS can make better use of results for nearby locations and resolve repeated lookups in the same area more efficiently.

For example, a coordinator can turn latitude and longitude into an operational reference that helps them call a driver, validate a delivery, or share a location with a support team.
The accuracy of the displayed text depends on the quality of the received position and the mapping information available in each region. Secure GPS keeps the GPS coordinates as the primary reference and displays the address as an additional reading aid.
Expanded support for GT06 GPS trackers
GT06 is a protocol used by different GPS tracker models to communicate positions, statuses, and events. We expanded its interpretation to recognize two additional message types: 0x31 for GPS position data with a UTC date and time, and 0x32 for position and alarm information.
When a compatible device sends these messages, Secure GPS can interpret the reported position, time, movement, and network references included by the tracker. For alarm messages, it can also include the event reported by the device in normal location processing.
Installers, integrators, and fleet managers gain more complete compatibility with GT06 device variants that already use these formats. This helps prevent positions from being discarded because of an unrecognized message type and makes better use of the information transmitted by the hardware.
The exact data and alarms available depend on the model, its configuration, and the manufacturer's protocol implementation. Before a large deployment, teams should validate the tracker with Secure GPS and confirm the events required by their operation.
