Line Renewal

In Lines you see the mobile lines (Claro SIM cards) of your GPS trackers, when the data plan of each one expires, and you renew them before the tracker runs out of data. You can renew one line or several in a single payment, with the data plan alone or together with a year of Secure GPS license.

To open the screen, click the settings menu at the top right and choose Lines. On a phone it is in the menu, under Settings. The option appears when your account has lines, and the red number next to it counts the lines that expire soon or expired recently.

Status boxes

Above the list there is a box for each status that has lines; statuses without lines are not shown. The status comes only from the expiration date:

BoxWhat it counts
Active (green)Lines with more than 30 days left. Below it says Expires and the date of the first expiration.
About to expire (orange)Lines that expire within the next 30 days, with the date of the first one to expire.
Expired (red)Lines whose expiration date has passed. Below it says Since and the date of the oldest expiration.

Click a box to renew all the lines with that status: the renewal window opens with those lines checked.

List of lines

Each row has three buttons and these columns:

  • Green button : opens the line to edit its description.
  • Button : renews only that line.
  • Red button This line is not mine: hides the line (see below).
  • Number: the line number.
  • Description: the text you gave it to recognize it.
  • Device: the tracker that uses the line, with a link to it.
  • Status: the status of the line.
  • Days Left: days left on the data plan; negative if it already expired.
  • Date: the date the line was registered.
  • Expires: the expiration date of the data plan. The list is sorted by this column, from the first to expire to the last.

Renew several lines in one payment

  1. Click the About to expire, Expired or Active box. You can also get there with the Renew button of the lines notice (see below).
  2. Review the lines in the window. They all arrive checked; uncheck the ones you do not want to renew, or use Select all. Above the table you see how many you have, for example 3 of 5 lines selected. The table shows Number, Description, Device, Expires and Days Left; a click anywhere on a row checks or unchecks it.
  3. Choose the plan in one of the three cards. Each card shows the total price for the checked lines and how many they are.
  4. If an advisor is helping you, click I'm receiving assistance from an advisor and type their code in Advisor code (Optional).
  5. Click the button of the card: Renew Full Professional Plan, Renew Full Plan or Renew Data Only.
  6. On the payment page, review the details and pay with the method you prefer. Once the payment is confirmed, each line adds a year to its expiration date and the changes show in the list.

Below the table, the window tells you what you need to know about the selection:

  • You can renew up to 100 lines per payment. If your account has more, renew them in several payments.
  • The lines with more than 365 days left are unchecked: their year is already paid. You can check them if you want to add another year anyway.
  • With a Secure GPS plan, the licenses start when each line expires, with the quantity and the date of each group, for example 2 today, 3 on November 15, 2026.

Renew a single line

With the button of a row, the window shows only that line and tells you how many days it has left and in how many days it will expire if you renew it today for a year: the days it has left are added to the new year, so you do not lose any. The rest is the same: choose the plan and pay.

Renewal plans

PlanWhat it includes
Full Professional Plan (★ Recommended)A year of the data plan of each line (600MB annual data) and a year of Secure GPS Professional license per line: Google Maps and Apple Maps, AI-powered reports and statistics, SMS alerts and WhatsApp alerts.
Full PlanA year of the data plan of each line and a year of Secure GPS satellite tracking license per line, without the features of the professional plan.
Data OnlyA year of the data plan of each line, with no Secure GPS subscription. Use it if your devices already have a Secure GPS license through another subscription.

The price of the licenses is calculated with the total number of lines you renew together, as when you buy several devices at once.

When the Secure GPS licenses start

When you renew with the full or the professional plan, the Secure GPS licenses do not all start on the day of the payment: each one starts when its line expires, so you do not lose days of the license you already have.

  • Lines that expire on the same day share a license that starts that day.
  • Lines that already expired have a license that starts on the day of the payment.
  • Each license lasts a year from the day it starts.

In Receipts you see the payment in a single receipt, with its Activation of the licenses table, and a receipt for each later activation date with the note Included in the receipt and the number of the payment receipt.

Activate the Secure GPS licenses now

If you need the licenses from today, for example because your devices are without a license, check Activate the Secure GPS licenses now before choosing the plan. They all start on the day of the payment and last a year from that day. The box comes unchecked and only appears when some license would start on a later date; the icon explains the same when you hover over it.

Lines notice

When you have lines that expire within the next 15 days or that expired in the last 30, Secure GPS shows a yellow notice at the top of the pages with Lines about to expire, Expired lines and the quantity of each, plus the text Renew them so your trackers do not run out of data.

  • Renew opens Lines with the renewal window and those lines checked.
  • The close button × hides it for 7 days. When you hover over it, it says We will remind you again in 7 days, or sooner if a line expires.
  • The notice comes back before the 7 days if a line expires, if another line enters its last 15 days or if a line has 3 days left or fewer.
  • The main account sees it. It does not appear on the Lines screen, which already shows the same, nor while there is a notice of an unpaid invoice.
  • The red number of the Lines menu counts the same lines as the notice.

Hide a line that is not yours

  1. Click the red button This line is not mine of the row.
  2. Confirm the message This line will stop appearing in your account. Do you want to hide it?

The line leaves the list, the boxes and the notice. To see it again, check Show the lines I hid above the list and click its Show this line again button.

Edit the description of a line

  1. Click the green button of the row.
  2. Type the text in Description, for example the plate or the name of the vehicle.
  3. Click OK. You will see the message Line updated successfully.

A line that does not appear in your account

If you open a renewal link for a line that is not associated with your account, Secure GPS shows Line not associated with your account and asks whether you want to add it. With Yes, add it it goes to your list and its renewal opens.

Requirements and limitations

  • The administrators of an account that has lines see the screen.
  • Up to 100 lines per payment.
  • The mobile operator provides the data plan; Secure GPS renews the line once the payment is confirmed.
  • If the operator does not allow renewing an expired or suspended line online, Secure GPS shows This line cannot be renewed online for now with the ways to contact us to renew it.

Frequently asked questions

Do I lose the days the line has left if I renew early?

No. The new year is added to the expiration date of each line; if the line already expired, the year counts from the day of the payment.

Why do my Secure GPS licenses have different dates?

Because each license starts when its line expires. If you want them all from today, check Activate the Secure GPS licenses now when you renew.

I closed the lines notice, when does it come back?

After 7 days, or sooner if a line expires, if another line enters its last 15 days or if a line has 3 days left or fewer.

I did not renew in time, what do I do?

Renew from the Expired box. The new year counts from the day of the payment and, with a Secure GPS plan, its license starts that same day.
